Researcher position

A researcher position for 3 years is vacant. The researcher will work on preclinical tumor mice models for vaccine development and tumor immunotherapy. The project will be led by group leader PhD Ranveig Braathen at the Department of Immunology and Transfusion Medicine, Oslo University Hospital. The successful candidate will work in a 10-member research team. The research group is part of a stimulating and international research environment of about 100 scientists working on various aspects of immunology.

Personlige egenskaper:
We seek a highly motivated person with a PhD or equivalent in immunology, molecular biology or related fields. The ideal candidate will have:
- Prior experience within immunology, cancer immunology or vaccine development.
- Prior experience with techniques such as ELISA, flow cytometry, cell sorting, cell culture, molecular biology techniques, PCR, protein purification, adoptive cell transfer (ACT) in mice, in vivo vaccination and monitoring of tumor cells by IVIS spectrum, cytotox assay.
- Experience in handling mice (FELASA C approval).
