As a Senior R&D Engineer Inertial Sensors you will take a leading role to further the development of our Coriolis Vibratory Gyroscopes (CVG) and control electronics. You will join a strong team working on all parts of development including design, modelling, testing and verification. The work also involves industrialization and maintaining our inertial products.
What you will be doing / The role / Your day-to-day
Inertial sensor design/engineering
CVG related work: Dynamic systems, control algorithms and electronics
Testing and qualifying inertial sensors from sensor level to IMUs
Industrializing gyroscope designs for increasing production volumes
We think you should have / What we're looking for / Your qualifications
Degree in relevant engineering discipline (e.g., electronic design, physics, materials technology, mechanical/dynamic systems, cybernetics)
5+ years of relevant experience
Strong understanding of physics, dynamic systems and/or electronics with proven ability to transform knowledge into results
Competency/experience with simulation in applicable engineering discipline

Work independently and in a structured manner but at the same time work well in our inertial team
Creative thinking, tenacity and the ability to view problems from different angles
Communicate clearly in English (and Norwegian if applicable)
Show initiative and contribute to a positive work environment
