Sr. R&D Engineer Inertial Sensors

As a Senior R&D Engineer Inertial Sensors you will take a leading role to further the development of our Coriolis Vibratory Gyroscopes (CVG) and control electronics. You will join a strong team working on all parts of development including design, modelling, testing and verification. The work also involves industrialization and maintaining our inertial products.

What you will be doing / The role / Your day-to-day 

  • Inertial sensor design/engineering 

  • CVG related work: Dynamic systems, control algorithms and electronics 

  • Testing and qualifying inertial sensors from sensor level to IMUs 

  • Industrializing gyroscope designs for increasing production volumes 

We think you should have / What we're looking for / Your qualifications 

  • Degree in relevant engineering discipline (e.g., electronic design, physics, materials technology, mechanical/dynamic systems, cybernetics) 

  • 5+ years of relevant experience 

  • Strong understanding of physics, dynamic systems and/or electronics with proven ability to transform knowledge into results 

  • Competency/experience with simulation in applicable engineering discipline

  • Creative thinking, tenacity and the ability to view problems from different angles 

  • Communicate clearly in English (and Norwegian if applicable)
