A permanent position as Senior Consultant in vascular surgery is available at the Department of Vascular Surgery, Division of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary diseases, Oslo University Hospital. The position is affiliated with a part time position as Professor II SKO 9301/Associate Professor SKO 1011 (20 % position) in Medicine (vascular surgery) at the Institute of Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Oslo (UiO). It is required that the position holder attends to both positions.
 

Kvalifikasjoner:

• Clinical work within the Department
• Contribute to early implementation of new knowledge from research into clinical practice
• Contribute to education of clinical specialists
• Personal suitability for the position will be emphasized.

 

Qualification requirements

• Authorization as MD according to the requirements of the Norwegian health authorities and specialist in vascular surgery with broad experience in vascular diseases
• Research competence and experience are especially important, see also required qualifications for the part time position
• Teaching competence
• Senior Consultant positions : Requirement for Norwegian specialist training in relevant specialty
• Certificate of good conduct
• Applicants from countries outside of Scandinavia have to document knowledge of the Norwegian language, written and spoken
