The department prides itself for being well organized, having a quick turnaround time and a friendly working environment. The department offers good opportunities for professional development. In addition to the diagnostic workload, other activities include multidisciplinary work. 

The section has an active outpatient clinic, as well as beds for complex assessments, treatment and rehabilitation (5-day ward).
We approach patients by focusing on the whole patient and integrating rehabilitation into the treatment course. Our interdisciplinary basic team consists of rheumatologist, interns, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, social worker, nurses, hand therapist and clinical nutritionist.
We also work closely with Orthopaedic surgeons and with Orthopaedic teknicians. The section is approved as group-2 educational institutions in rheumatology.
