About the Project:
The project aims to uncover molecular mechanisms underlying intrinsic and acquired resistance to colorectal cancer therapy and to develop combination strategies that can overcome resistance and improve treatment outcomes for patients with metastatic disease.
The work builds on functional and molecular data generated from a living biobank of more than 400 patient-derived tumor organoids and corresponding tumor tissue samples, representing key molecular subgroups of colorectal cancer. By integrating cell-based modeling, drug screening, and comprehensive multi-omics profiling (genomics, epigenomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and single-cell analyses), the project seeks to identify new therapeutic vulnerabilities that arise during treatment pressure.

Kvalifikasjoner:

Required:

• PhD in cancer genomics or molecular biology
• Documented experience with multi-omics analyses and data integration 
• Experience with translational cancer research 
• Experience with use and/or development of bioinformatical and statistical tools in cancer research 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Desirable:

• Experience with functional precision oncology, including analyses of large-scale drug screen data 
• Familiarity with antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs), targeted therapies, or drug combination studies and drug resistance studies
