A part-time (50 %) researcher position in the Coeliac Disease Clinical Trial Centre, financed by South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority (Helse Sør-Øst) from now and until 31.12.2028 is available. The centre leader is professor, senior consultant gastroenterologist Knut E. A. Lundin. The researcher will be employed at the Section for Gastroenterology at the Department of Transplantation Medicine, at Oslo University Hospital (OUH), and work in close collaboration with the research group of professor Ludvig M. Sollid at the Department of Immunology at Oslo University Hospital.

- Applicant must be a qualified scientist with publication merit in the field of coeliac diseases, hold a doctoral degree (PhD) in medicine or natural sciencies and be eligible for a researcher position at Oslo University Hospital.
- We seek a highly motivated candidate who can work independently as well as in a team.
- The applicant must be fluent in written and spoken English.
Preferable skills
- Applicants should have experience with coeliac disease and other inflammatory gastrointestinal disorders.
- Experience with clinical trials would be a clear advantage.
- The applicant should be familiar with immunological and biostatistical methods.
- The applicant should master flow cytometry at an expert level, including multi-color antibody staining and tetramer technology.
- The applicant should master ultrasensitive cytokine detection by electroluminescence or proximity assays.

- Application letter summarizing the candidate’s previous career and a description of how the candidate will fill the role as a successful candidate
- CV summarizing education, positions held, and details of academic work
- List of publications
- Names and contact details of 2-3 references (name, relation to candidate, e-mail and telephone number)
- Foreign applicants are advised to attach an explanation of their University's grading system. Please note that all documents should be in English (or a Scandinavian language).
- In assessing the applications, special emphasis will be placed on the documented, academic qualifications in regard to the project description, and the candidate’s motivation and personal suitability. Interviews with the best-qualified candidates will be arranged.
