Postdoctoral student (PostDoc)

There is now a vacant position as an MD postdoc at The European Palliative Care Research Centre (PRC), the Cancer Association’s centre for Patient-Centred Care.
The postdoc will be part of the research group at PRC, consisting of 5 senior researchers along with 1 professor in palliative care. We are looking for an MD who can contribute within several of PRC's thematic areas, in addition to the ongoing EU projects. This will include assisting in the development of new projects and applying for external funding for these. The position has funding for 3 years.

We are particularly seeking someone to work in two of our EU projects – “MyPath – The digital solution to patient-centred care” and “JANE” (Joint Action Network of Expertise on Cancer).
PRC is organized within the Department of Oncology (AKB) and the Institute of Clinical Medicine at UiO. PRC has a large national and international interdisciplinary network with outstanding researchers from many countries in Europe, Canada, and Australia. Together, we work to ensure that patients and their families receive the best possible knowledge-based care locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally.
PRC has the following prioritized research areas: nutrition/cachexia, pain, quality of life, health services research, and end-of-life research. The centre is currently conducting several large international multi-centre studies. PRC is also in the leading role in several EU financed projects. For all areas, research-based strategies are being developed for implementing research findings into clinical practice.
Applicants must attach a full publication list and the five most important articles they have written.
