HQSE Manager

Holdingselskaper

Do you want to play a key role in shaping how quality, safety, and security are managed in a complex and technology-driven organization? We are looking for an experienced and strategic QHSE professional to lead and further develop our work within quality, health, safety, environment, and security.

This is a unique opportunity to step into a role that is still evolving – where you will not only manage and improve existing practices, but also define, build, and further develop structures, processes, and ways of working at site level. The position offers significant impact, close collaboration with leadership, and the opportunity to shape how we manage risk, compliance, and continuous improvement going forward.

What you will be doing

  • Ensure effective QHSE and security governance, including compliance with internal standards, legal requirements, and relevant frameworks (e.g. ISO standards and national regulations), as well as maintaining required documentation and audit readiness
  • Own and continuously improve the site’s certification and audit program, including internal and external audits across QHSE and security domains
  • Lead and develop systems and processes for incident management, risk assessments, non-conformance handling, and continuous improvement, including training and reporting
  • Drive a strong safety and security culture through proactive initiatives, including training, inspections, safety meetings, and collaboration with employees, contractors, and occupational health services
  • Further develop emergency preparedness, business continuity planning, and ensure effective incident handling, investigation, and root cause analysis
  • Drive proactive risk management by identifying vulnerabilities across operations, facilities, and critical assets, and ensuring effective mitigation measures and follow-up of QHSE KPIs
  • Act as Site Security Responsible (SSR), including responsibility for ISO 27001-related requirements, security planning for sensitive activities, and oversight of facility-related technical installations and working environment.

We think you should have

  • Relevant higher education or equivalent experience within QHSE, engineering, or related disciplines
  • Solid experience from QHSE and/or security leadership in industrial, technical, or regulated environments
  • Strong knowledge of HSE and security legislation, standards, and best practices
  • Proven experience with risk assessments, incident handling, and continuous improvement processes
  • Experience with audits, certifications, and compliance frameworks
  • Ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across all levels of an organization
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Norwegian (written and spoken)

What you bring

  • A strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to balance operational detail and long-term priorities
  • Strong execution skills and ability to drive progress in a structured way
  • Confidence to act as a trusted advisor to leaders and decision-makers
  • Ability to build engagement and promote a strong safety and security culture
  • High level of integrity and a proactive approach to risk and compliance

Pre-employment check

This employment may require a pre-employment check procedure in accordance with company security standards, role or site requirements. Please note that this might affect the offer process or employment.
