The Department and research group:  The Institute for Cancer Research, invites applications for a full-time, temporary Engineer position (26.09.2024-15.12.2024) at the Department of Molecular Cell Biology, associated with the lab of Dr. Tor Erik Rusten.
This role is an exciting opportunity for a researcher to join the team as “overingeniør” in a lab management and wet lab role to support the team in its work on the intersection of tumor-host biology using Drosophila melanogaster as well as human iPSC-derived organoid cell culture.

Kvalifikasjoner:

• PhD within the fields of Molecular and Cell Biology. Applicants holding a MSc degree may also be considered.
• Strong background in Cell and molecular biology.
• Experience with Drosophila melanogaster research is an advantage
• Proficient in cell culture techniques and experimental planning in cell and molecular biology.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• A service-minded, collaborative spirit with a strong sense of responsibility.
