At NATO Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) Stavanger there is a permanent position available as a purchasing specialist with workplace at Jåttå. The Purchasing and Contracting Section is responsible for procurement planning, coordination, training, execution and control of JWC purchasing and invoice processing in accordance with NATO regulations. The position is organizationally subordinate to the Host Nation Support section of KNM Harald Haarfagre.

Main area of responsibility:
Purchasing and invoice processing for NATO JWC, including planning, organization, coordination, advice, guidance, implementation and control.

Kvalifikasjoner:

• Relevant bachelor.
  • Other education and/or longer relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
• 2 years of relevant experience.
• The working language is English; the applicant must have good English skills.
  • The applicant must be prepared to complete English STANAG test with requirement 3-3-3-3) before formal start of position.
• Basic Norwegian skills (speaking, listening and writing).
• The applicant must be able to obtain security clearance for HEMMELIG and NATO SECRET before formal start of position.

It is also desirable that you have:

• Purchasing Experience from an international organization or national NATO military organization.
• Five years work experience.
• Familiarity with international public sector accounting standards (IPSAS).
• Good Microsoft Teams Skills.
• Experience from an international work environment.
