2-years researcher position, B cell malignancy

A researcher position funded by South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority for 2 year position is vacant. The researcher will work on ongoing projects investigating early lymphomagenesis at the interface between autoimmunity and B-cell malignancy, including Cold Agglutinin Disease (CAD), anti-MAG polyneuropathy, and cryoglobulinaemia type II. The project will be led by Senior researcher Agnieszka Malecka and the researcher will work in prof Ludvig A. Munthe’s group at the Department of Immunology and RCN CoE PRIMA, University of Oslo. The research group is part of a stimulating and international research environment of about 100 scientists working on various aspects of immunology.

Kvalifikasjoner:
We seek a highly motivated candidate with a PhD or equivalent degree in immunology, molecular biology, hematology or a related biomedical discipline.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Documented research experience in B-cell malignancies and/or monoclonal IgM–associated diseases such as Cold Agglutinin Disease (CAD), anti-MAG polyneuropathy, cryoglobulinaemia type II, or related lymphoproliferative disorders.
- Strong background in B-cell biology, including B-cell culture systems, functional assays, and immunophenotyping using multicolor flow cytometry.
- Experience in development and preclinical testing of targeted therapies or biologics.
- Experience with xenograft models of B-cell lymphoproliferative disease and in vivo experimental systems and in handling mice (FELASA C approval).
- Solid understanding of translational immunology, including mechanisms linking autoimmunity and lymphomagenesis.
- Experience in data analysis and interpretation of complex immunological datasets.
