About the role

The Integration Engineer will work with colleagues to integrate external companies' users, applications, and services into the DFDS ecosystem. The job is technical, but a large element of the task is to analyse system setups and then plan, coordinate, and execute the migration. The main responsibilities include: 

• Configuring cross-domain and -forest functionality for newly acquired systems to work with standardized DFDS platforms, i.e., users, workstations, and Citrix. 
• Migration of on-premise user data, such as file shares. 
• Migration of Windows-based applications to the DFDS environment. 
• Analysis and planning for the integration or migration of other platforms such as Linux, Mainframe, and other business systems.   

About you

With this in mind, we are looking for a candidate that has a solid understanding of Microsoft Windows servers and Active Directory, including the complexities of dealing with multiple domains and forests. 

You will have:

• Experience using PowerShell and other scripting tools 
• Functional understanding of networks, firewalls, and routing. 
• Linux knowledge is a plus. 

We are looking for a person who is project-oriented and structured – someone who is not just a skilled technician, but who can also communicate effectively with people and coordinate with others. 

• Strong analytical skills. 
• Technically focused, with a “can-do” attitude. 
• Shows responsibility and initiative, taking pride in your delivery to colleagues. 
• Able to travel 15-30 days/year. 

Please be aware that the position can also be located in both Copenhagen, Immingham, Dover, Vlaardingen or Klaipėda.
