Job Summary:

Is responsible for the assurance of well integrity for the Company’s assets in line with the Company’s’ corporate policy and guidelines following NORSOK, ISO, API. Implements a DNO Well Integrity Management System (WIMS) and sets up and maintains a well integrity database. Will manage and coordinate the wellhead and tree maintenance, testing and reporting program and prepare Risk Assessments, Deviation / Dispensation Requests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures appropriate standards and testing are in place to maintain the Company’s well related safety critical elements to ensure that there can be no unplanned release of hydrocarbons and that risks from the wells to personnel, the assets and the environment are ALARP.
• Ensures all operations are effectively reported and that an auditable trail is maintained to demonstrate that the Company Standards are being maintained.
• Implement ‘Well Integrity Management System’ during the lifecycle of the wells.
• Technical support to the assets and the WS/Drilling/Production departments regarding well integrity issues.
• Follow ups to the execution of remedial actions to ensure the integrity compliance of all wells.
• Write job programs and work instructions and give operational support during maintenance routines and provide technical support for interventions.
• Ensure all parts of the well operating envelope are maintained as per the company's Well Integrity Management System, (WIMS).
• Actively monitors well parameters to ensure compliance with established limits, informs Well Services of any anomalies and ensures Well services /Production Engineers and asset teams are informed and aware of the integrity status of their wells.
• Arranges weekly and monthly well integrity meetings to proactively review well integrity and continually improve integrity performance.
• Management of the tree/wellhead maintenance, integrity test to ensure delivery of the planned maintenance routines
• Working with the Intervention team determines required spares stock for likely well integrity work programs and initiates procurement of same.
• Ensures that the lessons learned are captured and are implemented as appropriate
• Planning and delivery of yearly well examination routines
• Creation and removal of dispensations from policy
• Create well intervention requests (WIR) regarding well integrity interventions
• Write/review and assist in programs and work instructions
• Develop and maintain the Well Integrity Dashboard that has various data showing status of well stock, outstanding work, compliance, deviations to senior management can be well informed.
• Carry out well integrity related Risk Assessments in accordance with Company policy and safety guidelines.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 7 – 8 years field experience in drilling/completion operation.
• Proven track record in well Integrity operations.
• Engineering degree or equivalent industry experience
• Sound knowledge of the HSE regime governing drilling/well intervention operations
• Self-motivated with a 'can do' attitude
• Team player, sharing ideas with other team members
• Commercial acumen and the ability to appreciate the 'bigger picture'
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills, with tact and diplomacy to deal across different levels
• Familiar with industry well integrity softwares desirable SafeWells, Wellbarrier, Wellmaster, Wellview, Veracity Wells.
