As our new Warehouse Integration Analyst, you will be joining a highly motivated EDI Integrations team formed of analysts, developers, and product owner. You will have a wide range of touchpoints throughout the organization including local management, internal system users, integration developers and external customers. You will report to the Team Lead of Customer Connectivity and be based at DFDS Headquarters in Istanbul. You will be a part of the Logistics Tribe under the Technology & Innovation Division.
In the role as Digital Integration Analyst, your aim is to remove manual effort and enable touchless digital data transformation by ensuring the smooth exchange of data between customer’s systems and our warehousing systems. You are the bridge between our customers’ IT department, our in-house development team and local business. You will focus on analyzing the customer requests and business requirements and design the most optimal way of forming an EDI integration with the support of our development team. You will be focusing on warehousing integrations to improve the warehousing operational processes for DFDS business and our customers across the globe.

• Implement digital solutions using a variety of technologies and techniques such as EDI and API
• Ensuring the smooth operation of EDI (electronic data interchange) systems, maintaining data integrity, and facilitating efficient business processes through effective communication and technical expertise
• Improve DFDS’s business by working closely with warehousing operations and analyzing their processes and required data flows between customers and DFDS while using your optimization skills.
• Creating and maintaining EDI specifications in our project and documentation tool Notion where we define how data should be translated between different systems in different file formats: Xml, Json or EDIFACT.
• Testing and Troubleshooting: performing testing and validation to ensure the accuracy and reliability of EDI transactions.
• Stakeholder management- bridge between different functional areas and being the intersection of business and IT.

The ideal person for this position will have following qualifications:
• Have a relevant educational background either within computer science, information systems, engineering, or business administration where you have gained a conceptual understanding of system integrations and process analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills enabling to identify and resolve issues related to data transmission, data validation and system connectivity.
• You are a pro-active team player, as DFDS creates innovative solutions based on strong internal collaboration.
• You are strongly motivated, curious, and eager to learn. A desire to take on new challenges in an environment that is experiencing rapid growth.
• Fluent in English as DFDS is an international company.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are important for working with cross-functional teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: Given the critical nature of accurate data exchange, a keen eye for detail which ensures that data mappings, translations, and validations are accurate and comply with industry standards.
• Experience with middleware solutions and APIs


Nice to Have:
• Warehousing and logistics industry knowledge is a benefit as familiarity with the domain and understanding the business processes, regulations, and requirements helps in effectively implementing EDI solutions.
• General IT knowledge and experience of different systems and software integrations, basic knowledge of integration architecture
• Have experience with agile project management or being part of cross-functional teams across multiple cultures and locations.
• Experience of different systems and software integrations (API, .json, CSV, XML, EDIFACT) and communication protocols such as FTP, AS2, https
• Have experience with collaboration tools like Azure DevOps or similar.
• Have experience with Postman or alternatives for API testing.
