We are ready to grow even further in renewable energy and need you to help us get there. We are looking for a new VP, Public Affairs within our Corporate Politics and Ownership team.

Statkraft is looking for two new members of the Corporate Politics and Ownership team. The unit monitors the energy and climate policy development in Norway and Brussels and coordinate and define Statkraft’s views on key policy issues.

As part of this role, you will:

• Lead Statkraft’s public affairs in Norway in cooperation with SVP Corporate Politics and Ownership and Business Areas
• Strategically advice on and plan Statkraft’s stakeholder management
• Assess and inform policy development in Norway
• Support business areas and senior management on public affairs
• Work closely with different Business Areas
• Report to SVP Politics and Ownership

 

About You:

• Extensive knowledge and experience from Norwegian politics and policy development
• Sound judgement and strategic skills
• Team-player with leadership abilities
• Ability to take initiative and comfortable with high activity level 
• Strong communications skills and ability to present content in formal and informal settings
• Structured approach to challenges and tasks
• Preferably good understanding of energy and climate politics
• Preferably higher relevant education
