We are accepting online applications for Vessel Accountant - Temporary position (1 year) for Höegh LNG Services ROHQ located in Makati City.

The role will be responsible for the processing, recording and payment of vessel running expenses; reconciling balance account in compliance with established policies and SOX procedures and providing accounting support to other personnel.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Reconciles balance sheet accounts (BSR) monthly and gives recommendation for adjustments.
• Prepares and reconciles OPEX cost for monthly reporting.
• Prepares bank reconciliation monthly.
• Monitors bank balances and make sure that it has enough available balance to pay obligations (supplier invoices, intercompany invoices, etc.).
• Post invoices in AX and run payments on time.
• Effectively carry out closing procedures and timely booking of vessel cost and other transactions.
• Prepare and send Intercompany invoices monthly.
• Provide inputs to enhance current procedures and systems.
• Handle monthly, quarterly and year end closing routines and procedures.
• Reconcile and record Vessel Reports monthly.
• Prepares and sends open PO & NRPO list.

 

Qualifications and personal skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with high level of proficiency in written and spoken English
• Good planning and organization skills - ability to navigate through ambiguity, manage and coordinate multiple project assignments simultaneously
