Statkraft Ventures invests from seed to growth in start-up companies that drive fundamental change in energy, climate tech and related sectors. With offices in Oslo Norway and Düsseldorf Germany we partner with entrepreneurs all over Europe and North America and support them in becoming the market leaders in their respective segments.

Statkraft Ventures looks for a Venture Capital Analyst to join our mission of leveraging human ambition, technology, and capital to improve the state of the word.

In your role as a Venture Capital Analyst, you will:

• Become an integral part of our investment team and support the entire venture capital investment processes, including deal-sourcing, due diligence and portfolio support
• Be responsible for sourcing, analyzing and proposing new investment targets
• Run market and competitor research
• Support in due diligence and deal execution
• Build a network among founders, industry experts and investors

 

Your profile:

• Strong academic records, preferably with degree in engineering, natural sciences, IT, economics, business or finance
• Previous work experience from investment research, management consulting, tech start-ups or similar environments will be valued
• Commercial mindset and high level of interest and passion for businesses and investing
• Strong analytical skills combined with attention to detail
• Fluent in English, Norwegian language skills would be an asset
• Eligible to work in Norway
