The Technology business unit in the Integrated Solutions division is responsible for executing product and technology development enabling Kongsberg Maritime competitive edge while also driving the technology platform upgrades and generation shift.

You will work side by side with architects, software developers and fellow testers developing and implementing innovative test methods and scenarios for our next generation of real time platform. We want to use your skillset in order to ensure the highest quality, performances and compliance to our goals.

 

 Main tasks and responsibilities

• Review of system requirements to ensure testability
• Contribute to define the test strategy
• Implement the test approach according to scope and plan
• Contribute to create and maintain the test automation framework
• Develop and maintain automatic test suites
• Execute test procedures and report test results

 

Requirements

• Relevant technical degree or higher (relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education).
• Knowledge of Python scripting language. Very good knowledge in other programming language such as C++ can compensate
• Knowledge with communication bus such as CanBus, Profibus, Modbus, NMEA, etc.
• Experience with test automation and testing of real time embedded system would be an advantage
