World-wide turnkey cable supplier seeks an experienced Tender Engineer

The Installation Tender department:

Responsible for developing technical solutions for the installation and protection input to turnkey cable supply tenders, including schedule and cost. The work is varied and requires close co-operation with other departments.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Study client specifications and schedules and develop scope of work for the tenders.
• Propose solutions for the installation and protection of cables
• Prepare cost calculations and evaluate risks
• Develop schedules for the installation and protection of the cable
• Participate in site visits, meetings and negotiations
• Handover to the Project organization
• Manage the communication towards the client

What we are looking for:

• A Master of Science degree in Engineering
• 10 years of relevant experience
• Experience with project engineering and site from cable installation
• Fluent in English and Norwegian, both written and verbal
• Strong communication skills and ability to communicate well with clients and subcontractors
• Work well in multicultural environments
• You must be flexible with regards to some travelling
