As our Technical Sales Manager you are responsible for securing sustainable growth of the Accoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ACDPs) and Doppler Velocity Log (DVL) product lines globally across all segments. As one of our experts, you work directly with key users while enabling sales across regions through in-depth application knowledge.

You will join our Ocean Technology Division which has over the last years introduced new and innovative solutions for currents and DVL measurements. We are now seeking the right person to bring this technology to the market. Ocean currents provide essential information to a wide range of users ranging from oceanography and water management to industrial users.

What you will be doing

• Become the expert, and face of Kongsberg Discovery’s ADCP product portfolio, presenting at technical events, conferences and trade shows.
• Development and implementation of annual global ADCP order income budget in conjunction with the Ocean Science & Sensing sales team
• Track and report sales progress and build sales pipeline for ADCP order income using CRM and other sales tools.
• Identify, qualify, and recommend growth opportunities.
• Promote and preserve customer success, satisfaction and loyalty with Kongsberg Discovery’s integrated acoustic product portfolio.
• Provide commercial, technical and application feedback to the strategic planning process.
• Provide guidance on capability gaps and application opportunities to the product team.
• Assist the Customer Service team with input to ensure customer success with technical input and become a valuable technical resource to our customers in a different market sectors.

We think you should have

• Relevant experience from industry or oceanographic organizations.
• Preferably Masters’ degree or higher from a relevant field.
• Excellent communication skills: You’re able to convey the unique selling points both internally and externally efficiently.

Where you will be working:
Horten, or Lysaker in Norway. Other Kongsberg locations or partial remote could be considered, but you need to spend significant time at our Horten location. Note that it is expected that you are available to travel regionally, and internationally as part of the job.
