Would you like to work in a hands-on technical environment, supporting the production and delivery of advanced underwater technology? We are looking for a Technical Coordinator to join our team at Kongsberg Discovery. In this role, you will help ensure that equipment, logistics, documentation and support activities are well coordinated throughout our projects.

 

What you will be doing

• Coordinate logistics, material flow and equipment handling to support production, project activities, development and upgrades.
• Assist with packing, shipping preparations and necessary documentation for project deliveries, including follow-up of returned equipment and materials after project completion.
• Coordinate inspection, certification and maintenance of lifting equipment, test facilities and other technical equipment, ensuring required documentation is available.
• Develop, maintain and follow up equipment maintenance routines and procedures, including test pools and other relevant facilities.
• Identify, document and follow up non-conformities, and contribute to the development of HSE and operational procedures.
• Support sea trials and other technical project activities, including data analysis and documentation follow-up in ProArc.

 

We think you should have

• A technical background, such as a technician, engineering qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience from logistics, production support, technical coordination or similar activities.
• Good understanding of material handling, inventory management and logistics processes.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation and procedures.
• Good computer skills and experience with relevant administrative or technical systems. Experience with AX, Teamcenter or ProArc is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken.
