Team Manager, Dynamic Positioning

Overview of Position:

This role mainly involve in managing a team of engineers which include technical competencies, resource assignment and coordination which will require liaise between main office and customers from South-East Asia, Oceania, and other part of the world on all aspects of Offshore Dynamic Positioning operation in the after-market segment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a team of service engineers to provide effective and timely services as requested by the customers.
  • To constantly improve our customer service standards so as to achieve service targets.
  • Ensure efficient service engineers deployment to meet the needs of customer on-site servicing.
  • Responsible for work orders, tasks and project deliverables.
  • Responsible to train and develop technical competencies of service engineers.
  • Maintain the after-hours on call system which supports the customers’ requirements.
  • Work in partnership with the local sales and project force to develop the service business.
  • Responsible for Budget, economic results, reports and KPIs set by department.
  • Fully adopt, and operate according to HSE, Quality Assurance and Business Ethics guidelines and QMS procedures.
  • Adoption, maintain and postulate positive attitude towards corporate vision, core values, identity and culture.
  • Responsible for Team morale and work adherence to stipulated routines.
  • Meet customers and maintain good relationships with them while ensuring positive customer experience and high quality of services.
  • Collaborate with Global Customer Support world-wide network.
  • Able to handle stress.
  • Good written and oral skill (English)
  • Good customer etiquette
  • Good knowledge on computer network system / topology will be an added advantage.
  • Meticulous and customer-oriented person
  • Required to undertake ad-hoc duties which may be assigned from time-to-time

 

Requirements 

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • At least 8 years relevant experience in customer service.
  • At least 5 year of technical hands-on experience on KM products.
  • At least 3 year of technical experience of marine positioning system and sensors.
  • Experience on Project management and commissioning of new deliveries will be added advantage.
  • Pay package will be commensurate with experience
