Supply Chain Specialist

 

We are looking for Supply Chain Specialist who will be responsible for supporting the process of approving new suppliers, actively monitoring its progress, ensuring smooth operations, resolving issues, and providing analyses and statistics to support business decisions. Please note that this is a fixed-term position

 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the mailbox by sending emails to approvers, monitoring responses, and ensuring timely progression of the supplier approval process.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to gather required documentation and approvals, clarify requirements and maintain alignment with process standards.
  • Resolving issues by addressing delays or missing information, escalating problems when necessary, and ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Regularly updating the approval tracker and supplier database to reflect the status of approvals and ensure data accuracy.
  • Monitoring the overall process to identify potential issues early and proactively mitigating risks.
  • Preparing statistics and reports on the efficiency and performance of the supplier approval process to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal standards, processes, and applicable regulations.
  • Identify potential areas for improvement in the process and documents.

 

Candidate Requirements:

1. Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience in administrative work, data analysis, or business process support is a plus (experience in purchasing, quality assurance, or logistics is an advantage).

2. Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (advanced skills such as data analysis, pivot tables, and report creation).
  • Basic understanding of procurement processes and supplier management is a plus

3. Soft Skills:

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Adaptability to handle evolving priorities and unexpected challenges in a fast-paced environment.

4. Language Skills:

  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written (minimum B2 level).
