Elkem in North America is seeking a Supply Chain Representative due to retirement. We are looking for someone who wishes to be a part of a fast moving and continually growing business, in which Elkem has developed a strong track record of market leadership over many years. 

As a Supply Chain Representative you will work closely with our established customer service team and customers to provide solutions and improvement in processes.

Most important areas of responsibility:

• You will process incoming deliveries, order material and arrange warehousing.  
• Interact with incoming customer orders by phone or online, and record information into Elkem’s business systems.
• Process incoming material deliveries and enter receipts into Elkem’s business system.
• Schedule order shipments and arrange the necessary transportation and communicate shipping details
• Documentation of customer complaints and resolutions

Qualifications required for the position:

• You should have attention to detail, be customer oriented, possess good analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills, are able to multi-task and cope well in dynamic environment.
• University business degree or equivalent.
• Working experience in Supply Chain, customer service and order processing.
• Microsoft Office, Incoterms 2020, shipping knowledge, Salesforce
• Knowledge of customer-service principles and/or Quality Management practices. 
• Skilled using standard business tools, software, and applications.
