In this role, you will be a part of our Supply Chain Quality Team in Kongsberg Discovery. You will support the organization staying compliant to ISO9001 and develop our suppliers to meet KM requirements.

 We are looking for a candidate who has experience from working with quality issues and who enjoys collaborating with others. In your day-to-day work you will collaborate across the company business divisions and suppliers, and through that further build your competence, your business understanding as well as your network.

Through our modern non-conformity management system, our enhanced audit program as well as continually improvement of internal procedures you will be central in assuring high end quality of our world class technology products and commitment to sustainability.

Key accountabilities

• Work with suppliers on handling nonconformities and conduct root cause analysis with focus on mechanical parts, processes, and production
• Facilitate for and drive product and process improvements, mainly toward suppliers
• Lead supplier quality audits

 

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree within mechanical/ surface treatment or similar
• 5 years’ experience from mechanical production. Relevant experience may outweigh formal education.
• Competence with Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
• Production and process understanding
• Knowledge to quality management system ISO 9001, 14001, 45001
• Experience from audit (lead or participated)
• Knowledge of root cause analysis
