An exciting opportunity has arisen as a Financial Controller - Supply Chain  in Kongsberg Discovery, who develop and deliver world leading underwater acoustic sensors and smart robotics for marine, research and naval applications. We are looking for an analytical, curious, highly motivated, and proactive professional to support our Supply Chain activities globally, including production. As supply chain controller you will be involved in the whole process from producing a unit to delivery to the customer. 

You will be part of a dynamic and knowledgeable finance team where you will be given responsibility and freedom. As Financial Controller - Supply Chain  you are structured, show strong analytical skills and precision. Towards our business you use your financial knowledge to bring insight and value that directly affects our bottom line. In this role, you will also play a leading role in the Supply Chain management team.

Kongsberg is growing in Horten and is moving into a new building, which will become an exciting center for advanced manufacturing in Norway.

 

Key accountabilities

• Providing strategic financial insights, business partnership and recommendations to management team by understanding and supporting the local business challenges, risks and strategie
• Perform profitability analysis, inventory financial management and strive for Net Working Capital improvement 
• Implementation and follow up on manufacturing monitoring systems in our production site, mainly in Horten.
• Drive continues improvement processes in manufacturing and logistics through analytical methods
• Financial follow up of manufacturing technology projects
• Investment analysis and follow up on investments projects
• Planning and coordinating production budget and business planning activities

 

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor or master’s degree in finance, industrial economy or other
• Experience with value chain optimization is an advantage
• Knowledge with ERP systems is an advantage, we use Microsoft Dynamics
• Verbal and written communication skills in English
