MENU, a Danish design company founded in 1978, is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team in Nordhavn as a Supply Chain Controller. As a controller in the Supply Chain department, you will become a key player in our global Supply Chain with overall responsibility for maintaining our ERP master data, cost controlling and lead time processes. The job requires that you have a great understanding of forecasts and control of inventory management and gross margin goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Stock management analytics

• Maintain the ERP master data

• Supplier evaluation, mapping and overview

• Control of shipping agreements and framework

• Monitor the cost of freight & logistics and make sure it is under control

• Verify/control of import duties

• You work to optimize supply chain processes

• Manage the planning, stock replenishment and pick & pack processes

 

MAIN JOB TASKS 

• Maintain ERP master data

• Maintain supplier scorecard

• Control of stock turn

• Control of freight cost

• Purchase forecast

• Leadtime and delivery control

• Supplier quality performance

• Landed cost per product (GM %)

• Payment terms control

• Controlling that the fabric pricing matches the different categories

• Keeping a close eye on all incoming goods and controlling invoices and delivery

 

PROFILE AND DESIRED EXPERIENCE

• A structured working style

• Strong analytical skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Danish and English

• Cross-cultural understanding and interacts effortlessly with stakeholders across the organization

• Great team player skills and can easily picture him/herself working closely with a group of international colleagues in an informal work environment

• Graduated from university/business school

• You have a minimum of 2 years of experience from a shipping department (or similar) working with controlling, preferably in an international work environment

 

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Experience with MS Office

• Experience with ERP system as Axapta or similar

• Knowledge with Targit or similar BI tool
