About the Job
The area of Cash Management is undergoing a major transformation from a business and market as well as from an architectural perspective. As an experienced Solution Architect with solid knowledge of modern data centric architecture and agile ways of working, you will be a vital part of our community driving the Accounts & Payments agenda in the bank. We are now accelerating the journey to become more data driven and take advantage of the capabilities of the information platform when building the Accounts & Payment products & services of the future

As a Solution Architect you will work with setting the architecture and support the implementation of new solutions. You will support the business in the processes of prioritizing and defining solutions to the different demands that are directed towards the Data Area and work closely with the delivery organization to support with implementation of the solutions. You will make sure that the solutions serve the users thirst for data.

The team you will be a part of is skilled solution architects working with different tribes and initiatives in the cash and payment domain. Furthermore, you will cooperate with everything from infrastructure to operations and developers to architect and support the development. Your work will involve a high degree of complexity both from a technology perspective and from a people and process perspective.

As a Solution Architect, you will be one of the most important drivers in this exciting transformation journey and belong to an Architecture and Shared Service team and report to the team manager for that team and dotted line to the domain architect of Account & Payments. 

About You

We believe that you have worked as an architect for at least 3 years or as a lead designer/developer for at least 6 years, but most important is that you have great knowledge in the data area. You have experience from data management and modern data architecture with experience of both streaming and big data solutions and technologies. We also expect you to have great knowledge in the world that consists of big data, data lake, machine learning and AI.

You know how to coach developers in their daily work, as well as being the trusted advisor to the business. It’s important that you know how new technology can be used to solve different business challenges and how we can make the while also being good at communicating and collaborating across different lines of business.

We think you have great interest in the data area and constantly wants to learn new things in the ever-changing world of IT. You are comfortable working in a virtual organization and even though you are a team player, you are used to take the lead in various tasks. You have an analytic mindset and a pragmatic approach towards problem-solving. It would be an advantage if you have experience from the financial sector and especially the cash management area.

A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering/science, electrical engineering, applied physics or similar is a benefit but not a necessity. Equally important as any formal training or education is that you have a passion for architecture and the financial industry with a strong interest in keeping you updated on the relevant trends in the industry and technology. You are fluent in written and spoken English.
