The Software Tester performs an essential role in the department as they ensure that all Ferry & Terminal systems are fit for purpose and working to specified business requirements. You will work in a cross functional agile team, and in close collaboration with other teams and colleagues, utilising your professional skills to test all our in house developed systems that are deployed within a 24/7 operational business such as ours.

Working Monday to Friday, the successful candidate will be working in a very expressive team who like to drive their products forward and inspire new ideas. Be passionate about what they do and excited to always learn and push their abilities. You will be required to effectively manage workloads to strict deadlines and ensure that functionality of the systems is usable and free of critical and major defects, whilst helping in maintaining the overall quality of our code base.

Applying quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle, you will be analysing requirements for validity, feasibility & testability. Executing all levels of testing (System, Integration, Regression and Performance), combined with designing & developing automated tests when and where needed. We’ll need you to detect and track software defects and inconsistencies, providing timely solutions to ensure resolution.

Ideally, we would like you to have 2+ years of experience as a Software Tester or similar role, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintaining a very high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Be able to work on your own initiative, within a fast-paced environment and be able to demonstrate proficiency in boundary testing, decision tables etc. with experience of tracking defects in Azure DevOps or similar. You will need to be comfortable working and collaborating with the product and development teams, as well as stakeholders from across the company to understand the business demands, the functionality required, and helping to develop the platform, delivering value to our terminal operations throughout Europe.
