Working in IT 

From helping to run advanced renewable power plants, developing the technologies that power EV charging infrastructures, to supporting our business solutions and corporate functions. With Statkraft, you will be working and collaborating alongside other technology and digital experts to innovate, maintain and provide the world with renewable energy.  

The Collaboration & Information Management team ensures deliveries of global solutions and services based on a standard set of tools that are utilized globally across Statkraft’s Business Units in a standardized way. Statkraft is in an exciting period where we are improving existing processes and tools through several projects and initiatives to meet current and future needs for secure manage of information, collaboration, communication, archive and records management, enterprise search and digital asset management.  

As Subject Matter Expert for GIS (Geographical Information Systems), you are responsible for the global GIS in Statkraft. Including creating and following up the GIS Strategy and coordinating the global GIS community. You will be part of a team of internal and external subject matter experts, developers, and architects – delivering application management, implementation activities, advisory and support to the business units.  

Your role and main responsibilities are: 

  • System Management of the GIS platform 

  • ArcGIS Enterprise 

  • FME 

  • Creating and following up of the global GIS Strategy 

  • Coordinating a virtual team of experts, spread across ten countries 

  • Being active in keeping the global GIS community alive in Statkraft 

  • Communicating the possibilities of GIS globally 

About you: 

  • Broad experience with managing aGIS 

  • Experience from equivalent role from larger companies or as consultant 

  • Strong experience with the whole ArcGIS portfolio, including ArcGIS Enterprise 

  • Customer and service minded
