Service Operations Manager - GCS International Operations

Key accountabilities

  • Manage and organize the service delivery department’s daily operation in Namibia
  • Establish relevant GCS KPI’s and drive activities to meet set targets
  • Ensure that business strategies are supported by GCS objectives and activities
  • Manage development and implementation of resource plans, strategies, and budgets
  • Manage maintenance and development of tools, routines, processes, and procedures to ensure best possible information flow
  • Personnel responsibility for all employees in the department and their development and support
  • Management of service project administration
  • Manage stakeholders and ensure fair process in everything we do
  • QHSE accountability for service delivery department

 Requirements

  • Technical, Business and / or shipping educational background would be preferred
  • Good knowledge of the Namibian Ship Owners/Shipyards/Operators and Ship Managers Market
  • Market and business oriented
  • Experienced in working in complex matrix organization structures
  • Positive and outgoing with ability to establish and maintain good internal and external customer relations
  • Excellent cooperative, communication, and networking skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and in writing
  • Willingness to travel internationally
