Your role:

Statkraft’s Global Environmental Markets team is looking to add a senior voluntary carbon originator to its Amsterdam office.  The Senior Voluntary Carbon Originator will be responsible for the execution of various longer-term purchase agreements in the voluntary carbon space. You will maintain a strong network among project developers and to complement new ideas to existing strategies.

Candidate profile:

The candidate will have several years of experience executing transactions in the various global environmental markets at either a project developer, intermediary, utility, or trading house.  You will be well organized, process-driven but goal oriented and be able to proactively identify new business opportunities. 

• This candidate should have a strong knowledge of the various carbon standards and registries.
• Knowledge of the global environmental policy landscape is essential
• Track record of transactions and good industry references
• Minimum of 4 years of previous work experience in the industry
• Minimum of college degree
• Eager to take on responsibility and proactive
• Experience in carbon reduction methodologies, procedures and processes of the various voluntary standards
