We are looking for a Senior Software Developer – Manufacturing to join the Test and Automation team in the Manufacturing Technology department at Kongsberg Discovery. The team is responsible for designing and developing robust software and of testing a wide range of acoustic transducers. 

In this role, you will be designing a reliable and robust quality assurance system for a precision manufacturing process. You will work with a dedicated team on specifying all technical needs of software projects including database design and software integration. You will also be responsible for the deployment and quality of the assurance system at release into the manufacturing process.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or similar.
• Experience with DevOps methodologies and creation of automated software deployments.
• Experience with higher level programming in Python/C# or similar.
• Experience with usage of relational databases like SQL server/Maria DB/MySql.
• Experience with usage of time or document databases like Cosomos/Mongo DB/Influx or similar.
