SEB is now looking for a Senior Project Manager who is eager to take on new challenges within the regulatory development area and help us succeed on our exciting journey to meet regulatory compliance.

About the job
As Project Manager within Regulatory Office you will work in a global environment in our division Large Corporates & Financial Institutions in the area of regulations linked to trading in financial instruments. In your role you will be responsible for managing both large scale and smaller projects spanning cross divisions, functions and products to meet regulatory deadlines. You will work in an environment with multiple stakeholders leading both big and smaller teams with different organizational backgrounds.

Your key responsibility will be to drive the projects from start to end. Your responsibilities will include, amongst other things, setting up the frames for the projects in collaboration with specialists and stakeholders, plan the project with the right resources, coordinate and synchronize activities and deliveries with both IT and business units, collaborate with agile teams, product managers, scrum masters, operations units and many others. You will also prepare material for steering committees and other management groups and report progress to key stakeholders

Who are you?
To succeed in this role, it is required that you have several years of experience as Project Manager within the financial industry. We believe that you are used to work according agile methods, have strong leadership capabilities and enjoy working with cross functional teams.

As a person you are highly structured and analytical and value the attention to details. You are skilled in managing your own and other’s time for being able to plan and prioritize meeting tight deadlines. You have excellent communication skills and are used to presenting on all levels in the organization. It is essential that you have a good understanding of software development and are used to working in a complex environment with multiple sponsors, stakeholders and management groups.

To thrive in this role, you are naturally social and collaborative and enjoy leading and encouraging teams meeting highly set goals. You are result oriented with a proactive mindset, a strong drive and a positive ‘can do’ approach. You are flexible and pragmatic and see no problem in working at detailed level should it be needed.
You have an academic degree in Finance, Business, IT or equivalent. You are fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written. Certified project manager with experience from regulatory development and SAFe methodology is highly meriting.
