We are thrilled to announce an opening for a Senior Project Manager at Kongsberg Discovery. In this pivotal role within our Operations team, you will be instrumental in delivering world-class sonar and sensor products for coastal waters, supporting anti-submarine warfare, maritime mine countermeasures, and harbor surveillance.

As our Senior Project Manager, you will collaborate closely with sales, supply chain, purchasing, shipping, suppliers, sub-vendors, sister offices, and shipyards. You will also serve as the primary point of contact for our customers. Success in this role requires a proactive, self-driven individual with a collaborative spirit.

Key accountabilities

• Manage the project to meet or exceed company goals

• Organize, lead, and motivate the project team

• Resource planning, cost estimating and budgeting

• Analyze and manage project risks, manage reports and documentation

• Stakeholder management and ensuring customer satisfaction

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or science

• Extensive experience as Project or Engineering Manager

• Experience and track record as Project Manager or other leading function in successfully multi discipline projects

• Experience with Contract Management and EPC contracts

• Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships

• Good communication skills – both written and verbal (Norwegian and English)
