To develop newly started FTL traffic to and from Sweden / Finnland / Norway in close cooperation with our Scandinavian offices, we are looking to recruit a Senior planner & development manager Scandinavia at our Hamburg location.

Responsibilities

• Develop FTL traffic to and from Scandinavia
• Increase volumes and ensure right balances of individual trades
• Monitor und improve operational efficiencies in cooperation with our DE-UK planning team and our Scandinavia offices
• Develop customer base in cooperation with sales
• First contact for customers, sales and Scandinavian offices
• Ensure data quality in DFDS IT systems

Your profile

• A completed apprenticeship as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk
• Market knowledge of the geographical trading areas
• CMR Convention knowledge and understanding
• Comprhensive knowledge of logistics legal restrictions/issues(incl hazardous cargo)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Good German, English skills, with any Scandinvian language as big advantage.
• Basic knowledge customs regulations
