Position:

Senior Electrical Engineer, Drives

Overview of Position:

We wish you to have good communication skills, be practically oriented and see solutions when facing a challenge. As a Senior with us, you need to be proactive, follow a structured approach and focus on safety. You should be comfortable working both in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of technical specification, functional description, and design documentation according to customer specifications, regulations, standards and class requirements.
• Parametrization and configuration of Grid Converters/drives, DCDC Converter, Thruster Drives, Drilling Drives, DC Switchboards, Energy Storage Systems.
• Interface handling and coordination
• Package responsible of the delivery from contract launch to IAT/FAT/Commissioning/sea trial
• Participate as advisor at Mechanical Completion and Commissioning onsite
• This position requires some availability to travel for follow up the projects

Requirements

The preferred candidate has a bachelor or master’s degree in electrical engineering or power electronics and experience from projects within the maritime sector involving international customers.

The candidate must be able to demonstrate experience with engineering, following-up and commissioning of complex application involving power electronic equipment/systems AC/DC, DC/AC and DC/DC.

If having experience with Siemens or ABB Electrical Drives will be preferred, Our new colleague also needs to speak and write English fluently.

Pay package will be commensurate with skills and experience.
