Your Trainee position and your team
The Financial Strategy team is a specialist unit within Large Corporate Coverage, who are responsible for strategic advisory projects directed to SEB’s large corporate clients. Together with the other analysts in the international team, you will work with assignments such as financial analysis, client presentations, financial modelling and generic support towards client advisory.

As an analyst in Financial Strategy, you will get insight and collaborate with several of the product teams within the division Large Corporates & Financial Institutions. During the trainee period, you will have an assigned tutor, who will involve you in different projects and give guiding support.

We Want You!
We are looking for people who can challenge us and we will do everything we can for you to get a kick-start career in SEB. In return, we ask for this:

• an academic degree in Finance or Industrial and Management Engineering or equivalent (for this role you need to have strong mathematical skills)
• you are, or will soon graduate and have some work experience
• fluent in written and spoken English

It is not a requirement but a plus if you have experience acquired through leading projects, have worked within customer service, service areas and studied/worked abroad. It is also a plus if you have completed an internship in advisory services, banking or consulting. As well as, having an interest in working with sustainability or energy sector. It is meriting if you are fluent in written and spoken German.

You are a person with an analytical mindset, who understands and can analyse complex issues and come up with rational conclusions. As an analyst, you will have multiple internal and external contacts, so you need to have excellent communication skills. You are a person who makes things happen and takes responsibility for the results. Most importantly, you have high ambitions and enthusiasm to develop yourself in our team.
