Sales Support Coordinator

Support the regional sales team in maintaining strong customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities with both existing and potential customers. Promote solutions and offerings across the entire Kongsberg Maritime (KM) product portfolio, with a specific focus on proactive planning for major overhauls and dockings to maximize Kongsberg's opportunities. This includes identifying prospects for spares, services, retrofits, and refits, with active follow-up on these opportunities in close collaboration with sales managers and product centres.

Responsibilities

  • Support Aftermarket Sales Managers in identifying customers and vessels scheduled for overhaul/maintenance, while proactively seeking new opportunities with both existing and new customers.
  • Analyze data to prioritize and propose customers that offer the most potential benefit.
  • Prepare comprehensive maintenance planning packs (binders) for upcoming overhauls, ensuring the entire KM product portfolio is covered.
  • Project manage and coordinate sales efforts with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth execution of activities.
  • Monitor and follow up on opportunities in close cooperation with the Aftermarket Sales Manager, keeping information updated in the CRM system (Dynamics365).
  • Assist sales teams in preparing for customer meetings, attending as needed, and supporting continuous process improvement and tool utilization, including handovers to the delivery/aftermarket projects and any other adhoc duties assigned.

Qualifications and experience

  • Relevant Diploma equivalent experience from marine industry
  • Strong product knowledge (specific to the product requirements).
  • Ability to work independently, with a systematic and structured approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office, CRM, and ERP systems.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English (and local language if applicable).
