Sales Representative

Connector Subsea Solutions was established in 2002, focusing on reliable solutions for complex subsea challenges. We have been through a good development, and with the acquisition of supplementary service areas, we are now a significant supplier, with a wide range of services, to major Western oil companies. We are established in Norway, UK, Bosnia-Hercegovinia and Croatia.
Connector Subsea Solutions has won several major contracts, and we are therefore in need of strengthening our sales staff in Norway. We are looking for a Sales Representative.
The focus for this sales role will be on deep-water pipeline repair connectors, clamps, and associated product businesses, and dealing with major international oil and gas clients and their contractors. We are looking for someone who has a structured way of working. It would be beneficial to have a good understanding of document handling, and knowledge of and experience from the use of CRM-systems. Our Sales Representative will work with internal interaction with customers, tracking and planning, and following through the sales processes up to hand over to the project execution team.
This position will initially be an internal technical sales function, but there will be opportunities for the right candidate to develop into an external customer-facing sales role.
To thrive and succeed in this role you need to have a technical understanding and interest.

Kvalifikasjoner:
- Preferably a technical degree. However, a strong technical interest combined with experience may compensate for a lack of formal education.
- Experience from sales, ideally with technical products or services.
- Ability to deal with customers.
- Understanding of cultural differences, and how they affect the sales process.
- Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project).

- Organized and able to manage a varied workload.
- Confident and determined.
- Enthusiastic and energetic.
- Be a team-player, but also manage to operate independently as required.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Norwegian.
- The ability to work quickly and efficiently with a high degree of detail- and accuracy-focus.
- Eager to learn.
- Flexible and adaptable in approach to work.
