RPA/DPA Developer

Statkraft is a leading company in hydropower internationally and Europe's largest generator of renewable energy. The Group produces power out of hydro, wind, solar, gas-fire and supplies district heating. Statkraft is a global company in energy market operations and has over 3600 employees in 16 countries. Statkraft IT is the Statkraft Groups IT service provider and Digitalization Centre of Expertise, delivering a full set of services from business development, change management, projects, application development to operational services. The Integration team in Statkraft is responsible for Statkraft’s integration platform. RPA, Azure and Microsoft BizTalk Server serve as the backbone for our global integration architecture. The highly experienced integration team is located across Norway, Germany and India.    We’re looking for RPA/DPA developers for our data harvesting service. For RPA development we’re using UIPath and for DPA development Azure services like Logic apps, Data Factory, Functions and Python. The integrtaion team is part of a large IT organization with over 150 people, providing IT services globally in Statkraft.

Why Statkraft?

As a RPA/DPA Developer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a wide range of RPA agents and DPA services, supporting business critical data harvesting processes across the organization. You will be responsible for harvesting data from a wide range of sources like web, subscription services, ftp and more. The data formats are in many different shapes and forms like HTML, PDF, images, CSV.                                                   

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Development of data harvesting processes, where the data collected is used for market analytics, power scheduling, balancing and trading activities
• Development of robust and scalable RPA agents and DPA services
• Life cycle management of RPA agents and DPA services, implementing new features and changes
• Monitor the health, running state and data quality for the data harvesting
• You will have direct contact with traders, capturing data requirement and put requirements into action and deliveries
• Create custom monitoring and alerts for the most business critical data harvesting
• Develop close working relationships with other teams
• Collaborate with business and IT Operations

 

 About you 

• We’re looking for you with solid RPA/DPA development skills.
• Relevant education at university level
• 2-5 years of experience with RPA/DPA development
• Experience with the UIPath
• Experience with UIPath Computer Vision, Abby OCR or Document Understanding
• Experience with Azure services like Logic Apps, Functions, Data Factory
• Experience with C#
• Experience with SQL
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Dedicated and has a creative problem-solving attitude
• Comfortable with new challenges and a personal drive to build new development skills
• Ability to work individually as well as in a collaborative environment
• Curious and would like to learn about RPA and Azure services
