Regional Director of Sensors and Robotics Services - Global Customer Support

An exciting opportunity has arisen as Regional Director of Sensors and Robotics Services. In this role, you will serve as a stakeholder for governance, strategy, KPI’s, competence and capacity for all S&R business units. As Regional Director of S&R Services you will report to the VP of Global Customer Support - IntOps America. 

 Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee and ensure adequate resources exist S&R Field Service Engineer resource allocation to meet customers’ demands
  • Track FSE competencies in the region and look for opportunities to increase expertise and cross-train FSEs in other product lines to add flexibility in the region and for Americas based governments worldwide
  • Track FSE work visa requirements and eligibility for work on jobs not in the FSEs’ home country
  • Collaborate with other GCS staff from other regions to help with global service demand, when possible
  • Provide reports in accordance with defined GCS principles
  • Support in making of growth strategies and KPI’s that enhances the relationships of organization has with its clients and customers
  • Ensure that Governance, Strategic direction, goals and KPIs set by the product centre are followed and meet
  • Ensure cost, quality and customer satisfaction are at the heart of everything we do

 Special Tasks:

  • Service coordinator for pure S&R services and combine the rest of GCS coordination by collaboration with other service coordinators
  • Collaborate with regional project and sales managers to ensure all in-house engineering and regional demonstration requirements are met
  • Trusted partner of SVP GCS S&R and VP Programs for day to day collaboration and operations with input from Product Centres

Competence:

  • Good knowledge of all Sensors and Robotics product lines in the region for aftermarket and services
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and lead in a multicultural team operating over several countries
  • Experience on developing business cases to support new activities and improvement
  • Operational experience with highly customer focused and motivated for new challenges
  • Collaborative and reliable

Qualifications and experience

  • Technical Bachelor or masters’ degree
  • Experience from comparable positions
  • Strong leadership profile and execution skills
  • Proven history of attracting, developing, motivating and retaining talented employees
  • Strong teambuilder
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Ability and motivation to combine people management, strategy and hands-on tasks
  • Regional / global mindset
  • Preferred Subsea Operations background / expereince
  • Position will provide services to fulfill federal contract.  Qualified applicants must be a U.S. Person per federal contract
