We in Kongsberg Maritime are now looking for an R&D Test Engineer to join our Embedded System team. This exciting position is in our central technology department, where we design underwater acoustic systems.

We are looking for a R&D Test Engineer who is a structured, organized person who is interested in supporting our product development tests. You are passionate about testing and scripting. Newly educated bachelor or master students are encouraged to apply.

Key accountabilities

• Active part of our new DevOps & Test Automation team

• Support R&D engineers in test, test reporting and documentation
• Carry out Software, Firmware and Hardware tests with tools according to requirements and test descriptions
• Develop and maintain automatic tests
• Give feedback to R&D engineers and project leaders

Qualifications and experience

• Relevant Bachelor or Master of science
• Experience with automatic tests and test-tools
• Knowledge about Azure DevOps and Git is and advantage, but not required
• Experience with Python and/or Matlab to analyze sonar data is an advantage
• Good communication skill – both in English and Norwegian
