Quality, Safety, Health & Environment Manager

The Role… We are looking for a Quality, Safety, Health & Environment Manager who will be responsible for leading all aspects of developing, implementing and maintaining agreed QHSE and Standard Operating Procedures for the Site to ensure that the site complies with company and legislative requirements. To be successful in this role you will need the following qualifications:

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • NEBOSH Diploma or NQV level 4 Occupational Health and Safety D
  • IOSH D
  • H.A.C.C.P Level 3 D

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, Organize, Direct and Control all activities related to the QHSE Systems
  • Perform Risk Assessments
  • Conduct Accident and Near Miss Investigations
  • Conduct Safety Audits
  • Plan and measure the effectiveness of internal and external quality audits
  • Lead the site HACCP Team
  • Review and update the site Food Safety Manual to ensure procedures comply with current requirements
  • Retain BRC Accreditation
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all QSHE legislation
  • Develop the Business Continuity Plan
  • Manage the administration and adherence to the engineering PPM schedule
  • Conduct review meetings with site facilities suppliers
  • Analysis of accident statistics, identifying trends and implementing improvement plans
  • Lead the site HACCP Team

 

SPECIFIC SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within QSHE field
  • Experience of Managing and auditing Quality systems.
  • Experience of completing Accident Investigations
  • Competent is writing Risk Assessments and SSOW
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel, Office & PowerPoint
