QHSE Manager

We're looking for a QHSE Manager for our GCS Propulsion & Handling team, which provides innovative solutions for our customers' future needs. You'll work with our leaders to improve our people, products, and customer service, using data-driven approaches and visual models. You'll use best practices to ensure QHSE excellence and compliance, following international standards and our internal QHSE management systems and procedures.

At GCS Propulsion and Handling, we're committed to anticipating our customers' future needs, embedded in our core values and evident in our service offerings. As a QHSE Manager, your responsibilities will extend to working across diverse borders and cultures, emphasizing a global perspective.

Collaboration with our Business Intelligence team is key, as your role involves developing visual models based on data-driven approaches to guide organizational efforts. As part of our QHSE network, you'll contribute to developing and implementing our QHSE strategy, sharing best practices for continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with international standards and our internal management systems and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead safety culture by example - fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and preparedness through training and targeted communication
  • Design and oversee HSE protocols for field and workshop staff
  • Align HSE and Quality campaigns with business strategy
  • Create and maintain data-driven visual management system for QHSE performance
  • Work closely with business leaders to support QHSE targets
  • Assist management in aligning quality and management systems with business objectives and KM's integrated management system

Qualifications and experience

  • Certifications: Knowledge of relevant certifications such as ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
  • Expertise in QHSE management systems will be an advantage
  • Hands-on experience in implementing and managing QHSE programs within, demonstrating a thorough understanding of industry regulations and best practices
  • Demonstrated functional leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and communication abilities to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
