QHSE Engineer

Join our Offshore Production Systems (OPS) team as a QHSE Engineer! Reporting to the Director of Operations and collaborating with the Divisional QHSE function, you’ll participate in projects, including new initiatives and modifications, while providing after-market support.

OPS is a leader in delivering Safety and Automation Systems for Offshore Production Units, playing a crucial role in the transition to greener energy. We’re looking for a motivated QHSE Engineer to drive our projects and operational success. You’ll work closely with project managers, QHSE functions, business unit managers, and other stakeholders to foster business growth.

Key accountabilities

  • Proactively ensure projects complies with contractual QHSE requirements, industry standards and relevant elements of the business management system
  • Work closely with the project organization managing non-conformances and lead root cause investigations and implementation of preventions as required
  • Initiate lessons learned across projects and ensured that identified areas of continuous improvements are managed
  • Actively participate in establishing and monitoring relevant QHSE metrics
  • Contribute to risk assessments and mitigations in projects
  • Support internal and external compliance review when required
  • Support and advice the project organization on QHSE matters

 

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field
  • Experienced in QHSE management from project organizations or similar, e.g. manufacturing and or supply chain
  • Experience from companies that are subjected to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 / OHSAS 18001, 31001 and ISO 27001 certifications
  • Relevant experience within Quality and / or HSE Management can compensate for formal education
  • Practical, hands-on approach to relevant complex tasks
  • Interest in quality methodologies, tools, problem solving, and project management is a plus
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English
