Now we are searching for:
PROJECT QHSE MANAGER
The division Integration & Energy is responsible for strengthening Kongsberg Maritime’s position in the energy transition, as a leading integrator of maritime solutions. We will be focused on developing integrated solutions that create added value for our customers within a range of segments. The division will coordinate and set direction across the product divisions in KM, and is responsible for our Energy products and systems, Remote and Autonomous development, and delivery of Integrated projects.
Quality and Health Safety & Environment are key in all we do, and we are looking for someone to manage the QHSE role in our projects. As Project QHSE Manager you will be responsible for quality, HSE and risk management in projects and work closely with the QHSE team in the division, project managers and project teams.
We're seeking two individuals who possess a strong background in QHSE, excellent communication abilities, and a track record of customer interaction and proficiency in Project risk management and root cause analysis. We have confidence in your potential to make valuable contributions to our project teams, where you'll play a pivotal role in embedding QHSE and risk management into every facet of our projects.
Responsibilities:
- Active participation and collaboration as part of the Integrated project’s Project Management Team (PMT).
- Provide QHSE expertise and guidance to support and address project risk management to secure success of the project.
- Provide QHSE expertise and guidance to support and address management of change through variation orders, technical clarifications/queries, non-conformities, and other challenges to secure success of the project.
- Develop and implement QA/HSE plans in integrated projects according to strategies, policies, processes, defined governing procedures, and customer requirements.
- Establish, coordinate and communicate the integrated project’s Inspection and Test Plan.
- Define and enforce quality standards, inspection protocols, and safety guidelines.
- Provide project specific training and awareness on quality, safety, and environmental practices.
- Collaborate with Project Manager, Project Engineering Manager, Work Package Project Managers and the wider project team to implement preventive measures to ensure product quality control and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and report QA/HSE performance metrics to project management and stakeholders.
- Assist Project Manager (PM) in internal and external reporting with respect to QHSE management, as required.
Qualifications and experience:
- Good knowledge to QHSE standards and project work including methods and tools.
- Bachelor’s in system engineering or equivalent
- Good understanding of engineering processes, project management, vessel & marine acumen
- Good experience from risk management, investigations and/or root cause analysis
- Experience from similar positions in companies that are subjected to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 27001 certifications
