An exciting opportunity has arisen as Project Manager/Senior Project Manager. In this role you will manage complex product development projects for our next generation of sonars. You will be working in a cross-functional team including product owners, principals, electronic- and software developers, mechanical designers, and all the way to the Supply Chain.

 

You will be part of the Underwater Acoustics department which develops products and services within Underwater Mapping, Ocean Science, Underwater Positioning & Communication, and Naval Sonars. Much of this equipment is used to explore and monitor our ocean.  

 

Key accountabilities 

• Lead multidisciplinary projects covering design, test development and manufacturing planning 
• Plan and coordinate project tasks 
• Project reporting 

 

Qualifications and experience 

• Bachelor degree within electrical engineering, Information and Communication Technology, software or mechanical engineering (experience may compensate for lack of formal education
• At least 5 years of experience from complex development projects 
• Very good oral and written communication skills with fluency in English and Norwegian  
• Experience with business tools, including MS Office, Project, AX/Dynamics and Azure DevOps
• Experience from structured processes like Agile, Scrum, Lean, Prince or similar is an advantage
• Experience from working in a development environment will be emphasized if formal project experience is lacking
