We are seeking a structured and ambitious Project Manager to lead complex, international projects. As part of our combat system delivery team, you will have overall responsibility for deliveries at the intersection of advanced technology, international partners, and global customers. We are looking for someone who thrives in a matrix organization, is motivated by complexity, and possesses strong commercial acumen.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Project Responsibility: Overall responsible for the projects assigned.
• Project Control: Planning and managing the project activities in scope, time, and budget.
• Leadership: Leading the project team in a matrix organization.
• Contract Management: Handling of contractual obligations towards customers and suppliers.

 

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: BSc or MSc in Engineering or/and. Project Management certification (e.g., IPMA education or similar) is highly desirable.
• Experience in project management for complex systems and management of international teams.
• Mindset: Proactive, self-driven, and collaborative personality.
• Commercial Acumen: Customer- and sales-oriented behavior.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with experience in moderating conflict.
• Languages: Fluent English both written and spoken. German language skills are an advantage.
• Cultural Competence: Intercultural competence.
• Industry Interest: Affinity to submarine technology.
• Problem Solving: Hands-on mentality and willingness to navigate through complexity.
• Mobility: Willing to travel and spend a substantial amount of time at our customer, partners, and end customers.
