We are expanding and are looking for you to be our new colleague to take part in the development within our Systems Design & Integration business. As a Project Engineering Manager, you will be the overall technical lead of integrated project, coordinating the engineering teams across product families. You will take care of day-to day technical administration, be responsible for delivery and quality of documentation to the customer.

Our Systems Design and Integration department is involved in projects dealing with equipment packages from several Kongsberg Maritime product families delivered as an integrated system project to our customers. High customer expectations and state of the art technology enables us to respond on the demanding requirements for sustainability and efficiency. A significant portion of our work is related to novel design where rules and regulations are not complete, and our engineering effort is essential to meet acceptance criteria’s.

 

Key accountabilities:

• Coordinate technical execution in integrated projects.
• Design/technical solution authority in the Kongsberg Maritime scope.
• Quality check of ship and equipment specifications, check function and scope of the Kongsberg Maritime delivery.
• Plan and execute interface management.

 

Qualifications and experience:   

• MSc, BSc, Technical College or Marine officers with relevant experience.
• You have experience in one or several within maritime: engineering management, electrical installations, system or equipment design, operation of ships, offshore installations, or commissioning/service.

• Willingness to travel
